Relocated to Alicante, Spain in 2001 and set up Globus Properties S.L, Commercial Real Estate and Development Company. In 2008 set up Globus Renewable to specialise in the sustainable energy sector for brokerage of solar and wind development . In addition, provided consultation for power plants, where the goal is to develop and own renewable energy assets.

Mark has been involved in the renewable energy sector for several years. On behalf of client companies, he has been engaged on many wind farm projects to assist in providing funding solutions, including raising tax equity, equity and structured debt for these projects. His knowledge and understanding of the requirements of all the stakeholders ensures that financial close is achievable and helps brings projects right through the different stages up to and including revenue start date. In addition to this, providing meaningful ongoing and regular communication to investors is an important function. Mark has experience working on renewable energy projects in Ireland, UK, Spain and Sweden. Mark also has experience working on different projects in different sectors including UK, Portugal, Finland & UAE.
